O.A.R. (Of A Revolution...)

Of A Revolution, also known as O.A.R, was formed in 1996, by members Marc Roberge, Chris Culos, Richard On, and Benj Gershman. Their first album, The Wanderer, was released in 1997 and included an early version of their classic song “That Was a Crazy Game of Poker”. All four members went to Ohio State University together where they met Jerry DePizzo, which would later make up the current line-up of O.A.R..

Since then, they have released five studio albums and five live albums including Live from Madison Square Garden which was recorded in 2007 to a sold out crowd of 18,000 people at the famous arena. In 2008, All Sides was released. Although it was not highly acclaimed, it did a very good job on the charts. The album contains the hit single “Shattered (Turn the Car Around)”. In 2010, O.A.R. released Rain or Shine, a two night live album that was recorded in June of 2009. The album showcases their incredible live show, even in the worst weather conditions (hence the name).
